At Northwest Career College, the Paralegal Studies program, led by Program Chair Cassidy Wagner, takes students deep into the world of law through an intensive 18-month Associate of Applied Science degree.
Students master 12 specialized legal courses, from contracts and civil litigation to family and criminal law, building a comprehensive foundation in legal theory and practice.
The program brings law to life through hands-on experience in drafting legal documents, conducting research, and preparing court pleadings. While traditionally featuring courthouse visits and collaborative mock trials with our Criminal Justice program, we've innovatively adapted to create engaging virtual simulations that mirror real legal environments.
