Jenette Ashcraft, N.C.M.A.

Jenette has worked in the field of medicine since she got her first job as a receptionist and filing clerk for a neurologist’s office at the tender age of fifteen. After falling in love with medicine, Jenette graduated from National Education Center in the early 1990’s and went on to pursue a career in medical assisting that has seen her work in a huge range of capacities, from front desk receptionist through back office assistant to billing and utilization manager.

A certified medical assistant and holder of a multitude of sub certifications, Jenette’s varied experience of in hospitals, labs, dialysis clinics, urgent care units, and doctor’s offices in over twenty specialties led to her being recruited by Northwest Career College to work in first the Phlebotomy department and then the Medical Assisting department. Jenette’s passion for medicine saw her ultimately assume the position of Allied Health Department Director, where she oversees the education of future generations of medical assistants.
